It's the irony of being a free people.

And now for something completely different. How's your basement bass farm coming along?

Not bad. And I used to have a bass guitar but it started to smell, so I had to throw it out.

Trump is still facing charges for violations against RICO in Cali and NY. We may yet have a President Pence.

Kind of hard for me to believe as I have never seen a deserving politician really get it like they should...........

Like Brexit, Trump's win has highlighted the inadequacy of modern polling.

Polls have pretty large error rates and I'd bet yesterday most polls showed a close race.

Also, remember the analyst Pio linked to with the long-term perfect prediction record who's analysis predicted a Trump win.

First of all, even though I agree with you that Trump is loathsome to say the least, calling the other side of the aisle stupid is not quite right. Least ways, not for me. I have to believe that other people have perspectives that are valid, even if different than my own. In this case it takes a lot of faith to hold that belief. If nothing else, out of respect for other others I must act in this manner.

As to what do I expect the American people to do, they just did it. They told Washington you don't listen to us. They thought Hillary had this wrapped up and didn't. Maybe they will take a step back and listen better.

Bottom line, I have to find a way to try and remain optomistic.

For the most part the many polls over some time predict a Clinton win.

Vote for Hillary because Trump is a monster is not that persuasive, if you point to what, better explain why. The Hillary campaign failed in that regard.
It will become a much more persuasive argument in days to come but it will be too late. It is too late.
