I was a bit more interested in seeing Buddy than Jeff Beck, but Beck's show surprised me with its range and versatility. He included prog rock, really tasty blues, classic rock and hip hop. I was expecting a purely instrumental performance but his entouage included a couple of talented singers. Jimmie Hall, formerly of Wet Willie can belt the blues with any of them. His vocals on several songs matched any blues singer I have seen. Rosie Bones brought a sort of cockney hip hop to the show. She was very expressive and energetic, displaying a unique style. And the headliner still knows how to handle an axe.

Is Rosie the lead singer on his new album? I heard some don't like the vocals but I am thinking about picking up the cd.
