Agreed. Originally I was clamoring (silently) for their power, heat and lines of communication two be cut off. On hind sight, I am glad that they were not and they were given limited freedom to go into town, spread their message, etc. In the end they were marginalized and shown to be bullies and utter fools to the rest of the country.
The state and the Feds did spend considerable amount of resources and do hope that these Y'allqueda's will face the full extent of the law and spend serious time behind bars. Please no plea bargaining for these yahoo's.
Next time I drive to Portland, I plan to go through Burns and see what all this brouhaha was all about.
