Trump has the GOP candidates and the party cornered. If they collectively go after Trump, he wins as was the case with his comments on McCain and Kelly. And their worst nightmare of Trump running as an independent will come true. If they ignore him, he dominates the media. Even Bush is losing at the polls. Best if all the GOP Presidential contenders took a long vacation and see if Trump will burn out on his own. Not if we can help it.

So what do you think the phone call between Bill Clinton and Trump Was all about several weeks before Trump threw his hat in the ring?
Those who lean toward conspirator theories might think Donald and Bill had this circus planned from the beginning.

Typical right wing deflection. They will do anything to avoid taking personal responsibility for the Frankenstein's monster that they created.
Shit, it's what they do. Create messes and then try to put the blame on the Democrats.

I really want to believe that this happened and the wingnuts go berserk talking about it. The name Trump and Clinton will be repeated over and over on TV and this is bound to drive Republican Party over the edge. Trump now becomes a bigger problem.

Total nonsense. Trump's ego is far too big to allow him to be anyone's catspaw. If the plan is to sink the Republican's boat (or run the KlownKar into a ditch), the idea is Trump's alone.
And I doubt that almost as much as I do that Clinton put him up to it. I don't know if Trump really wants or expects to be president but, whatever his reasons, they're his own.

Good point. He isn't the type to actually listen to anything another person has to say.

As far as I am concerned Trump is the best of the lot on the Republican side.
He's the only one of those sons a bitches (and bitches) that doesn't want to come after my Social Security and Medicare.

Trump opposes cuts to Social Security, Medicare, and Medicaid
Trump has strongly criticized the rest of the Republican field for advocating deep cuts to programs relied upon by the elderly, the disabled, and the poor. In April at the New Hampshire Republican Leadership Summit Trump said that he was “disappointed with a lot of the Republican politicians.”
“Every Republican wants to do a big number on Social Security, they want to do it on Medicare, they want to do it on Medicaid. And we can’t do that. And it’s not fair to the people that have been paying in for years and now all of the sudden they want to be cut,” Trump said.

And that's not all.
Quote:
I mean, you can’t have a guy that has no money, that’s sick, and he can’t go see a doctor, he can’t go see a hospital. You know, I just don’t think you can have that,” Trump said.
Trump told the host he didn’t care if his position cost him votes in the Republican primary, saying “you have to take care of poor people.”

Trump was an early and vocal opponent of the Iraq war.
“Look, the war is a disaster. The war should not have been entered into,” he told the Dallas Morning News in a July 2003 interview. “To lose all of those thousands and thousands of people, on our side and their side. I mean, you have Iraqi kids, not only our soldiers, walking around with no legs, no arms, no faces. All for no reason. It is a disgrace.”

Oh! My! God!
The grandparents on his father's side were Germans!
Friedrich DRUMPF! This name sounds if an American (or Monty Python) had thought of a German surname.
