The way Sailin Shoes, Hey Julia, and Sneaking Sally Through the Alley were put together in the album, it was almost a medley. Most of the FM stations played them together - so much so that it sounded strange to hear just one of the cuts. (My sons say that I am old fashioned to refer to individual songs as cuts instead of tracks, but this was an album before it was a CD, so the songs are cuts.)

That was easily his funkiest album with members of Little Feat and The Meters playing on it. I was a big fan of his back in the day and have all of his albums through Riptide, plus Clues. I saw him in Germany a couple of times as he was quite popular over there.
