You're so confused. I'm just as Wonderbread as you are. What I have is input from more single black mothers than you'll ever see on the TeeVee. And to a woman they all say the same thing. Our sons need to be more afraid of mom than the thugs. They will stay away from the thugs if they're afraid enough of mom to do it. There are too many young black men who grow up not 'bangin' or in trouble with the law by staying away from the thugs for it not to work. They can keep their distance from the thugs, but they're stuck with their mom, or the grandmom if there's no mom.
