Well, y'know...if there's anyplace there oughta be a bunch of booze cops it's in a big college town. Along with a bunch of roofie and rape cops. These same Virginia ABC cops arrested a gal in a Charlottesville grocery store parking lot last year, thinking a case of mineral water was a case of beer. She was paid a settlement of $200K for their overzealous behavior.

There have been reports that Martese didn't have a fake ID, nor did he fail a field sobriety test. I don't know the veracity of these assertions and will take a wait-and-see approach on this one. I see no need to go out on a limb claiming that I know what happened there. With the Governor and UVa Chancellor's interest, the investigation should be pretty thorough.

I did find the OP's post kinda odd, considering his willingness to immediately buy in to the concocted "hands up, don't shoot" meme in Ferguson. He may well be 0 for 2 when it comes to climbing out on limbs. We'll see.
