The lesser reason the shooting was wrong is it just encourages reactionary sentiment.

That would certainly clean up all the trouble in Ferguson. Just walk up behind any black kid stupid enough to be out on the street with his hoodie up and shoot him in the back of the head. Expensive though...reckon where you can still by the Zyklon B pellets, eh?

That has already happened, along with looting. Most folks want to remove the source of the majority of hatred, the police force. While some of the force is good and will have little problem getting on with the county, the majority will need to drift off to other Tier 2 forces, hopefully with better leadership and peer standards, where slipshod bigotry is not the norm.

If this does not happen, the protests will continue. The difference between the stl county pd and FPD is vast in training, competency, and relations with Ferguson citizens.
