There is no lack of eminently qualified black law enforcement officers in St. Louis county. This statement will be proved the day the FPD is disbanded.

Since Zeke has a hard time with statistics and comes out swinging blindly, the rate of self identified black households that own a car in ferguson is 32%. The rate of self identified white households that own a car is 84%. Even taken into account multiple vehicle ownership, there are more cars owned and driven by whites than blacks in Ferguson.

Looking at traffic stops, whites have a 26% higher incidence of contraband possession than blacks. Given that more whites drive cars in Ferguson than blacks, AND whites have a markedly higher rate of illegal contraband possession, one could reasonably expect similar rates for stops, arrests, and other police actions.

It is hard to believe the FPD is not targeting certain sections of Ferguson when police cars are parked 80% of the day immediately adjoining the arterial streets all the projects emptied out on.

Three friends in the past week conducted a little experiment by driving cars with expired inspection tags past these parked police cars on Florrisant, in ferguson. Not a one was pulled over, or even followed, but of course they were all white.

Zeke, the Department of Justice has found a pattern of excessive police brutality, discrimination, bias, and malfeasance because of these patterns...
Over 85% of all drivers stopped were blacks, when they constitute under half of the car owning households.
Over 90% of all tickets issued were to blacks.
Over 93% of all people arrested were black.
95% of jaywalking tickets were issued to blacks.
92% of disturbing the peace tickets were issued to blacks.
In vehicle stops, whites having illegal contraband were 26% higher than blacks.

These patterns, where the expected forecasted values are off by more than one standard deviation, and often differ from the documented incident rate by six and seven standard deviations, prove to anyone who understands how to implement statistics as an analytical device that this police department completely and utterly does not know how to police.

But we already know that in St. louis.

And a court system that preys upon the poor, to the point where the court/police work in concert to block continued car ownership,is an example of an unconstitutional conspiracy, not good policing.

And if 67% of the population is actually doing 95% of the crime, perhaps the fact that local government is only hiring people from that 67% for 6% of available city jobs has something to do with it.

I'm reminded of the point in Dr. Zhivago where Uri ripped a pile of wood out of somebody's fence to keep his family from freezing to death.

I figure his works out to AT MOST 47% of the drivers in Ferguson being black. And the actual number is undoubtedly less, if one assumes more white households than black have more than one car driven.

47% or less of the cars, 90% of the tickets. But it makes sense if you note than none of the whites get tickets for 'driving while black.'
