I'm heading to a storage space auction on Wednesday for the first time. I figure I'll get at least a drug dealers one, stuffed with cash, maybe a coin collectors, or perhaps a Paragon? Of course. For $40.

Yeah, it'll be 40 all right. Boxes of used Tupperware and Christmas ornaments that is lol.

Later guys (and gal).

Wish me luck tomorrow. Maybe if I get really lucky I'll find a pair of Reagans' signed dirty socks or some such

Hope you score a box or two of some fine LP's Pete. Doesn't matter the shape they are in as long as you can say Scroe.

Lol!

But no Scroe There was only one 10 x 10 that had an old mattress, an inexpensive but clean desk, and a bunch of closed clean boxes. I bid $50 (sealed bids) - it went for $69.95 to one of the ten or so pros that showed up.

Still kinda fun I guess, I'll do it again

The 'pro' should have known that shaving the nickle to $69.95 doesn't get you anything as a bid. When you're bidding, $70.05 is more the idea.

That was my take too! If he wanted to beat $65 but didn't think it was worth $70 he probably should've bid $65.05 or $65.01.

Maybe he expects someone to say "You paid HOW much for all this junk?"

He wants to be able to answer "Only $69.95!"
