If what you say is true (hardly a guarantee), a person doing their job was attacked by an entitled youth who believes the law doesn't apply to him: likely enraged by a lineage of generational guilt, trauma and anger dating to decades before he was born.

That's not the fault of the law or anyone empowered to enforce it.

What I see is an 18 year old kid summarily executed for the crime of obstructing traffic and showing a cop some attitude.

And I see a cop that starts a fight rather than show a little discretion. We don't need cops out on the street that are looking to start shit over nothing.

I know, you don't do shit when my bike gets stolen. I get that. I'm OK with that. You need to be out hunting murderers and rapists and other really bad people. But not out harassing kids that are loitering in the street.
