Without a schematic it is tough to say whether they are designed to be run in parallel. I looked at the device spec for the ST amplifier chip and it did not discuss load sharing properties, i.e. running in parallel.

It is a crap shoot. Try it and see what happens. The amplifier chips are less than a buck so the financial exposure is small if the smoke comes out.
