Lake Erie has these giant Goldfish....oops...and a big thing called a Sheephead...something like that I can remember....but you are not supposed to eat them....
Once I was floating on Lake Erie on one of those inflatable rafts that people use when they go camping and my foot brushed a dead fish...yuck.

I recognize that some of the topics are vitally important to the future of this country as we know it but tempered discussion will bring us to solutions faster than animus.
Just my two cents worth.
John have you not noticed that whenever there is a calm, sensible post put up it gets totally ignored. Most posts make me think of the Pharoah bird that flies in ever decreasing circles until it disappears up its own anus. From that advantageous position it slings the chit at its enemies.

I remember heading up to Lake Erie with the family once back in the early '70s for a day at the lake. IIRC, it was Geneva State Park. Anyhow, I vivdly remember the signs warning people to stay out of the water and the shore being COVERED with dead fish. After that, we stuck to the local lakes..............

Yeah, the Koch Brothers are so right, we need to go back to pre-EPA environmental regulations for industry. It was so GREAT back then.

The lake is much cleaner now, but it still stinks.

Wait till the Chinese finish their nefarious plan and invade with carp.

I can see Beck now, lamenting the infiltration of Communist carp in our waterways.
