I remember a conservative on tv saying once an industry is regulated it generally becomes stronger and more immune, citing the auto insurance companies as an example. So if one is forced to buy health insurance that would seem to be a boone to health insurance companies. The SEC has not hurt Wall Street as we all know. So now Blue Shield etc will be a sort of partner with the Feds. So if the Republicans ditch the Obamacare they would be hurting a big business community?
Scratch a tea bagger and you will find a person who loves his or her mandated socialized medicare or if they are young too ignorant to realize they will need it to someday.

Unfortunately there is no possible way to regulate mis-management.

No, but regulation of banks creates an available pool of money to bail out mis-management.

The sheer misunderstanding of how our government works is amazing and a chilling condemnation of our school system.

Even our pre-Obamacare system was about as free enterprise as the power grid.

Unfortunately it is a regullated free enterprise and therin lies its real problem. The local Flicker & Flash installed an investment banker as CEO. He invested all the profits instead of fixing the outside plant. He lost his shirt along with the profits and now they are asking the PSC for a rate increase to cover all the storm damage from the recent tornados. No management not mis-management.
