There is not another politician that I can envision really signing a repeal of the health care act other than Palin. She is unafraid to do what is right for the country at the expense of losing the office and going home after 4 years. Progressives (and some faux conservatives too) know she won't play their game and that scares them to the core.

She did what was right by quitting half way through her first term as governor.
Probably just going for the big change because she was broke. She did do a great job of marketing herself.

Of course I live in a state where 2 not very good actors got elected and served as not very good governors.
