Just When You Think The World Has Gone To The Dogs

Just got back from trying to corral a neighbors yellow pup who dove out their open front window. Several neighbors in our condo complex were helping and the pup just bolted. No sign of him for almost a half hour, then he showed up after taking an excursion on the local 55 freeway. A heroic lady was stopping cars and trying to get a hold on his collar. She followed him all the way back to our complex where he leapt through the window of his home. One neighbor quickly closed the window just as his owner showed up.

Whew! I'm too old and busted up for this much excitement. It was heartwarming to see all these neighbors and the shero lady from the freeway working hard to get a lost pup home. Just when you think the world has gone to the dogs...
