No, you didn't. For the 3rd time, no one can seriously suggest that passing a gun control law would have prevented what happened in FL. Further, and more to the point, the question was - what would prevent something from happening tomorrow? Your proposal would require the passage of legislation which is a process measured in months or years (particularly with the dysfunctional environment in DC).
