BS. There are hundreds of actions taken by law enforcement on a daily basis in the interest of homeland security/terrorism. Some are good, some bad, some indifferent, just like the humans who undertook them. That does not make them all the same.
Again, I was against both DOJ requests, but for different reasons. They are not analogous, despite your desperate attempts at "whataboutism." It's gotten to the point that every action of Trump's that you have difficulty defending (and it seems you feel an obligation to defend everything Trump does), results in some lame "whataboutism." Whether you know it or not, it's a clear sign that you lost the argument before it even started.
