Oh, it was covered on my wife's Federal BCBS. She's an RN w/30 yrs experience, one of my best friends is my GP, they BOTH told me if I DIDN'T have this surgery, I was headin' for The Last Roundup-and fast. I was 387, & goin' up, up, up...Now I'm 120 lbs lighter, this has been since Feb. I take 35 units of insulin now instead of 225, I can walk w/o huffin' & puffin'...In short, this most likely saved my life. Can't cheat on it, either-if you try to wolf stuff down too much or too fast, you get REAL sick REAL quick.
