I've been wondering for decades how long it would take for the bubbas to realize that they've been played like fiddles by the GOP elite. I still don't think they fully understand the depth of the ruse, as they are nominally still Republicans. The bubbas' racism and xenophobia probably still prevent them from getting on board with the party that represents the working man, so it will take a while for this whole mess to shake out. The convention in Cleveland will be a (sorry) spectacle to behold.
