I wonder what the terrain is like in those rice paddies. A Dutch friend of mine told me about how when there were dogfights over The Netherlands any planes shot down tended to just disappear into the polders because of the water level. They would surface every so often and the people would collect the bodies and dog tags so next of kin could be notified.
