I have a difficult time believing that staunch democrats actually believe that this president has been an effective leader. Domestically, internationally, and even in general character attributes, Obama has been an abject failure. Though Carter was bad, he at least was veracious and not a narcissist that believes in his own infallible correctness.

Putting aside your fairly whiffed up and partisan opinion of the CIC, how do you explain away congress historically abysmal approval rating of 7% in this? The Republicans in the House have blocked everything except renaming post offices since '10. Methinks your ire is a trifle misplaced or at the least you're indulging in some transferrance of emotion.
