When Chuk (my avatar), the rest of the dogs and I were racing, I used to try to make it to Grant's Pass for the first leg of the trip to Portland, Estacada, Beavercreek or BC. It's really beautiful up there but it's a little like West Virginia if you substitute trees for coal.
