I might have to (gulp) defend Dub on this one. I'm not sure of the exact circumstances of Dub telling PR to shut his pie-hole. If it was simply a request from an ally - i.e., Dub telling PR that the prez couldn't be affiliated with PR when he gets on the extreme, that's simply a matter of responding to expression with expression. Elected officials are entitled to the protection of the first amendment, but voters can use their ballots to respond. Similarly, President Obama can express his opinion that Fox is not a legitimate news organization, and he is not willing to appear on if as if it were. Fox is certainly capable of responding to that position. Now if a president were to remove someone from a public forum because the administration did not like the message on a t-shirt, that would interere with free expression.
