Wasn't it Clinton who was bombing the Serbians who were in their ethnic cleansing mode? There was also some cruise missles sent after Al Qaeda after the embassy bombings in Africa, I seem to recall.

That might be my flawed lefty recollection. His grandstanding after the fact, call for Gorbachev to tear down the Berlin wall was a PR hack job IMO. Solidarity did the heavy lifting as I recall.
