Obama's "National Security Leaks"

I can't help but be amused by the GOP and their Faux News lapdogs bitching and moaning about national security leaks by the administration. What were the leaks??? We were involved in drone attacks in Yemen and Stuxnet in Iran. Well no shit, Sherlock.

The world was acutely aware from the get-go that it was our drones blowing up assholes in the deserts of Yemen and the mountains of Pakistan and Kaspersky (the computer security firm in Russia), among others, pointed out the smoking guns in the Stuxnet code that pointed to us and Israel. Who else had the means and motive?

The real issue here is that Obama is getting credit for national security successes and the GOP feels that its turf is being trampled upon (somehow they view themselves as the party of national security, notwithstanding the debacles of the Dubya adminstration (9/11, Tora Bora, Iraq ...)). Then of course you have the Dubya administration leaking disinformation to Judith Miller of the NYTimes (who now works for Faux, as no one else would hire someone so easily duped) who writes an article that Cheney later that week cites as proof of Iraq's WMD program. Brilliant.

What a bunch of disingenuous, dishonest @ssholes.
