Prominent Dem Defects to GOP

"Nardelli matches the profile of voters who have at times given the President heartburn: culturally conservative, working class and somewhat rural – aka Reagan Democrats.:

"She asserted, like the party-switching Ronald Reagan in 1962, that the Democratic Party had strayed from values with which she could agree."

From my perspective, it appeaers that some Dems are realizing that their party continues to move to the left, further away from the mainstream. It also is worth noting that polling suggests that Obama's popularity is slipping among women voters, as reported today by ABC news.
