The WPA
I caught a segment on the WPA project on the Smithsonian channel that was pretty cool. It was about the state guide books that they hired out of work writers to put together. I also learned about this idjit bastard father of McCarthyism, Rep. Martin Dies, Jr. D-Texas, also.
