Moved new speakers to the HT setup and played:

Martin Scorsese presents the Blues
Van Morrison at Montreaux
Stevie Ray Vaughn at Austin City Limits - This is both his 1983 appearance and his 1989 appearance. I distinctly remember the '83 appearance being the first time I had seen or heard him. I was amazed at his guitar playing then, and I remain so today. Maybe later this week, I'll put on his Montreaux DVD and watch the idiots boo him off of the stage after her poured his soul out through his guitar strings.

Regards,

D-Ray

Playing the first CD of a 3-CD Dylan box set called Biograph. I received it as a gift from my wife well over a decade ago, but have never played it until now. I have all the vinyl and most of the CD's from which the music derives, so I never saw the need to play it. However, I just noticed it in my CD cabinet, so what the hell? It's very good, of course, because it's from the esteemed Mr. Zimmerman, my favorite artist by a very wide margin.

That is very good. I like it that the producers didn't necessarily arrange it chronologically, but more thematically. I have two of the three discs remaining - the problem of letting someone borrow CDs.

D-Ray

The previously unreleased "Percy's Song" on the first disk has long been a favorite, though I'm not sure how I first got to know it.

Normally not a fan of Country and not really knowledgeable about it. However my local college station the famous Columbia University station WKCR is having its annual 3 day "Country Fest" and I am sitting in.

I am enjoying this WAYLON JENNINGS guy.

He seems to have some good writers. "When you alone there is nothing as slow as passing time".
