There is the hair. And I hear he's very polite. That is worth at least another 5 million.

I remember watching a documentary about the Nazi rise to power in Germany. One woman they interviewed said, "Oh, I loved the Nazis. They were very patriotic. You felt wonderful about being German in those days. And they believed in dealing with criminals. If you had a thief in your village, they would come and kill him, done, no fiddling about with trials and all of that. And there was plenty of work, everyone had a job and money in their pockets....................................." And she went on and on about how they dealt (brutally) with homosexuals and "lazy people"......with her face all aglow.

No, I'm not calling Gov. Perry a Nazi, or even accusing the GOP of being Nazis. There are important differences. But, I do see the lesson in what some people will tolerate in exchange for a job, law and order and a government that panders to their prejudices or hatreds.

Obviously quite a few Germans liked Hitler. Some in the upper class worldwide admired him as well.

Not according to a neighbour I had back in Quebec, he said there were no jobs and that he and many others worked on farms just for food and a place to sleep.

I felt as though some weird time warp had transported me back to the 2nd grade!!!

To be fair, whenever Boner pointed out for the upteenth time that he used to be a small businessman, I thought I was going to puke.

Somebody need to write these clowns some new talking points.

They're boring me.

I wish Ears would become green and ditch the teleprompter. We'd be able to hear just how good he is at "thinking o his feet." Remember he was a lecturer and not a litigator. Boehner is just plain boring. I'd like to see some politicians with a trifle more pizazz than the critter bunch we have now. Reid looks like he's having a bowel movement everytime he speaks.

I suspect they all went into politics because they didn't have enough of a personality to be undertakers.

Except for Dennis Kucinich. The few times I've watched him, I was always impressed with just how personable and quick on his feet he was.

I was also impressed as to just how many things we agreed on.

Well, if Perry runs, the Trump voters will have somewhere to go.

I guess LBJ was the last "hair challenged" person to be elected president. (Gerald Ford doesn't count. He lost the only time he actually stood for election.) That was the sole reason Humphrey, McGovern and McCain lost.
