AI can be dangerous to politicians

Just yesterday I was having a conversation with my daughter as to how AI will be used for nefarious purposes in the future like social media and the dangers far outweigh any benefits. Here is an example and in this instance I am applauding it. It seems Lil Marco wears eleven different hats for the F47 administration, so opportunities should be endless,

A Marco Rubio impostor is using AI voice to call high-level officials

Quote:
Using both text messaging and the encrypted messaging app Signal, which the Trump administration uses extensively, the impostor “contacted at least five non-Department individuals, including three foreign ministers, a U.S. governor, and a U.S. member of Congress,” said the cable, dated July 3.

The impersonation campaign began in mid-June when the impostor created a Signal account using the display name “[email protected]” to contact unsuspecting foreign and domestic diplomats and politicians, said the cable. The display name is not his real email address.
Quote:
In addition to the effort to impersonate Rubio, several recent impersonation attempts have targeted high-profile U.S. officials. In May, someone breached the phone of White House Chief of Staff Susie Wiles and began placing calls and messages to senators, governors and business executives while pretending to be Wiles, the Wall Street Journal reported. The episode spurred a White House and FBI investigation, although President Donald Trump dismissed its significance, saying Wiles is “an amazing woman” who “can handle it.”
Disclaimer: I use Ai extenssively but seldom to create content like Mike Lindell's attorneys did and got caught... see Chicks post).

Meanwhile, "A special team created by Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard has expressed a desire to gain access to emails and chat logs of the largest U.S. spy agencies with the aim of using AI tools to ferret out what the administration deems as efforts to undermine its agenda."

Paranoia strikes deep ... Also, I'm not sure Trump has a clearly articulated agenda other than fealty to Putin. Trump just wants to ensure that nobody ever disagrees with him.

^^This is to formalize a Loyalty Test for everyone within the administration and AI can be extremely effective in this if only "it" can gain access to all the communications, both internal and external, for those being watched and tracked. Wait till someone within makes an ill advised or inopportune comment and this comment gets amplified, AI will simply treat this as more trustworthy information and give it a lot more value and watch certain people get tarred and feathered.

Adding more content to this post, here is a report from today about Musk and Grok, his very own AI.

Quote:
With his artificial intelligence start-up, xAI, Musk vowed to build a “maximally truth-seeking & curious AI to understand the nature of the Universe.” Grok, which is integrated into X, is its signature offering. Musk has described Grok as unfiltered and dedicated to “rigorous pursuit of the truth” — unlike other companies’ chatbots, which he claims are trained on politically correct sources.
So which AI do we believe?
