If retailers would post their prices as base price + Tariff, most of us will understand the impact of his senseless tariffs which actually hurts both countries and the economic damages are non-linear. But doubt the MAGAts will get it since they are totally convinced that the exporting countries will pay the tariffs filling up US Treasurer's coffers which will benefit them.

The Trump Math: 1 + 1 =3 and 1 - 1 = 1.

Once it finally dawned on me that this crowd enjoys being wrong. It makes more sense as to their actions. They must be it seems to even be more energetic in following after all the events up to now.
They are proud to be hated and considered foolish. See it as a badge of honor to be displayed proudly.

I did not take his campaign promises very seriously convinced that his only reason for winning the elections (easy considering his opponent was a downgrade from HRC) was to avoid the myriad prosecutions. Not just the threat of convictions, but the OPM he was using to defend himself was bound to dry up.

Now I am at a total loss as to why he is doing what he is doing. Referring to Project 2025 is too simplistic, that could have been a wish list from the far right who now call themselves conservatives.

Are there people or dark forces behind his wrecking of the foundations of our democracy and economy in two short months. Why is he GOP House cheering him on silently while tiny cracks in the Senate are developing which will go nowhere because the House can simply ignore the bills? Last not least, what is the annual budget going to look like that is due in September?

Originally I believed that the drastic tariffs was to fill the coffers for his promised (expanded) tax cuts, but this wholesale wrecking of the economy and the stock market is beyond extreme. Its insanity and nothing to prevent him and we call this a model democracy. What a farce.
