Large force deportation cannot work. Repubs and Dems business need those workers. I suspect symbolism to occur.
Big tariffs are bargaining ploy.
Its all smoke & mirrors, blustering, BS, bullying. They'll deport maybe 1000 people, have a big TV show at the border and call it a success.
Assess him as a politician? F-.

"On Thursday, just three days after President Donald Trump signed an executive order implementing the policy, a Reagan-appointed judge in Seattle temporarily blocked Trump’s attempt to end birthright citizenship — the right to automatically become a US citizen if you are born in the United States." Think I'll send a few bucks to the good folk at the ACLU.

Leon is a scientific and technological dreamer.
I am from a STEM background and often empathize with his technological dreams. However one has to admit that it seems Leon wants to run the train on time.

You are misusing the word 'conscience.' Conscience is the faculty of moral sense that warns us against doing wrong. No one was going around claiming 'I can't take the vaccine because it would be immoral.' The basic claim was 'I don't want to and you can't make me.' Motives included denial of COVID danger, and desire to conform to the political expectations of their identity group.

I suspect it was a deliberate distraction move. Cover for the executive order blitz. People arguing Nazi vs. Not are missing the real action.

So he gets a pass because he ran out the clock? His stooge of a judge in FL tossed a case that was a sure conviction and prevent him from serving as president. Only getting elected protected him from going to prison for his 34 felony convictions. The Jan 6 investigation report (the release of which his flunkies are furiously battling to keep from being released) would have likely led to prosecution and conviction. The Georgia election interference case where we heard him in his own words trying to interfere with the results would have been an easy conviction. But yeah, give us more excuses or remail silent and let us only assume or open your mouth and remove all doubt.
