Bob does have a way with words by misspelling them.

Getting back on track here, sounds like Putin is finally, in his roundabout way, finally fessing up to his military not knowing the difference between a military drone & a jetliner full of civilians. I do not think this was an intentional "lets kill these civilians" act, I truly believe they were shooting at anything in the air as both sides have been pretty heavily engaging in drone attacks on each other.

Ya gotta believe the radar signature of a drone is one hell of a lot smaller than a jetliner. Inept antiaircraft systems operators perhaps? .....

https://www.bbc.com/news/articles/cqx8l1533j5o

"Russia's President Vladimir Putin has apologised to the president of neighbouring Azerbaijan for the downing of a commercial airliner in Russian airspace, in which 38 people were killed - but stopped short of saying Russia was responsible.

In his first comments on the Christmas Day crash, Putin said the "tragic incident" had occurred when Russian air defence systems were actively repelling Ukrainian drones.

It had been reported the plane came under fire from Russian air defence systems as it tried to land in Chechnya - forcing it to divert across the Caspian Sea.

It crash-landed in Kazakhstan, killing 38 of the 67 on board.

The Kremlin released a statement on Saturday noting Putin had spoken to Azerbaijan's president Ilham Aliyev by phone.

"(President) Vladimir Putin apologised for the tragic incident that occurred in Russian airspace and once again expressed his deep and sincere condolences to the families of the victims and wished a speedy recovery to the injured," the statement said."

Trump did not hide his Ukraine platform before the election.
Zelenski had one chance to make a strategic statement and the Zurovikin
line denied that. With China, India, Global South not on board and the decline of Europe in effect Trump's and Vance's positions are realistic.

The atrocities by the Russian military early in the war are still fresh in my mind, I can never forget the vile abuses committed against the Ukrainian civilians.

F&^% Putin and anyone who sides with him.

Talking

The people who organized the Ukrainian project led the US in a huge strategic blunder...the budding unity of China and Russia.
At the start of the Biden admin there was an intense internal debate on which is the real deal China or Russia. A faction which was voiced by Lloyd Austin felt that Ukraine was not strategically important and that the US should expend its energy in the direction of China.
Said faction lost the debate. The possibility that Russia would collapse was too strong.
With passage of time it became clear that Russia was not collapsing. However those who empathatize with the Ukrainian losses on the battlefield and described the situation as a stalemate were severely rebuked. Such were US general Milley and Ukrainian general Zaluzhny. Zaluzhny was eventually put out to pasture in Britain.
As stalemate became agreeable the head of Ukrainian project Mrs Kagan resigned/forced out from the Biden admin.

As part of his election promise Trump said he is going to end the war and he is moving fast.

Moving fast to butter Putin's potato's. Trump wants to be Putin, a despot that enriches himself through the misery and at the expense of others, those others include the American people.
