No, Biden invaded Ukraine. Putin is the innocent bystander he pinned it on in his (Biden) attempt to instigate WW3 and sell tanks to the Ukrainian Army...........

What's even more worrisome is that so many Americans are so warped and unintelligent they actually believe this BS. One of them is my brother.

Extremely well expressed. Soon purveyors of facts like some of us will be looked upon in askance.

I have a lady friend whom I have known well for around 15 years that I met recently. She was born and brought up in the Fresno area, a MAGA wasteland. She said she did not vote because her vote for Trump is meaningless in CA but now that trump has won, she expects great things for this country. I said why because in his first term he demonstrated to be thoroughly incompetent and he has gotten worse.

"Well, he is after all a very good businessman!
He will open up the pipeline that Biden put a plug in (assume keystone)."

But when I mentioned to her about his plans for increasing tariffs and yet another round of tax cuts (from which she will not benefit) which will damage our economy, no clue as to what I was talking about.

But she is convinced that since he is a great businessman (she mentioned Trump Tower and MAL as examples), we will do better than ever.

My hometown has become a MAGAt wasteland. I was minding my own business having a beer and a delicious hamburger in a local bar, "Big Ds", when a man sat down next to me and started talking about Trump winning the election. I said nothing because I REALLY didn't want to be bothered. However, he sensed my displeasure and started running his mouth. "You aren't tired of politicians running our government? At least Trump isn't a fu**in' politician, he's a successful business man.....". WELL, HE SURE AS HELL ACTS JUST LIKE A POLITICIAN, ONLY WORSE! He backed up a bit...."Alright, big man. Not looking for trouble. Enjoy your meal.", and walked away.

That's what really gets me is the relentless repetition of empty slogans and talking point they parrot for YEARS.....DECADES, even.

"At least we can say Merry Christmas now."

Nobody ever told these dimwits they couldn't.

I do understand that some retail stores asked employees to generalize well - wishes to "Happy Holidays". But that was simply an effort to respect the diversity of their customer base, not to "cancel Christmas". And these people fail to grasp such a simple concept, also failing to notice their employer marketed and sold Christmas oriented merchandise EVERY SINGLE YEAR.

It's no wonder they can't figure out why we think they're stupid.

Anyone who looks at and understands how they work would know that "long term effects" is a red herring.

Well, we have experience with COVID in an unvaccinated and now a largely-vaccinated population. I see blatant differences.

But you cannot yet establish the long term effect on the vaccinated.
