But Skydio’s vulnerabilities came into sharp focus days before the U.S. presidential election, when the Chinese authorities imposed sanctions and severed the company’s access to essential battery supplies.

Overnight, the San Mateo, Calif.-based Skydio, the largest American maker of drones, scrambled to find new suppliers. The move slowed Skydio’s deliveries to its customers, which include the U.S. military.

“This is an attack on Skydio, but it’s also an attack on you,” Adam Bry, the chief executive, told customers.

It is reported that our Dear Leader had a heart to heart with Mexico's president Ms. Sheinbaum and two are giving differing statements on this subject. Trump claims that Ms. Sheinbaum has agreed to close the border while she is claiming that the border will stay as is.

"I explained to him the comprehensive strategy that Mexico has followed to address the migration phenomenon, respecting human rights. Thanks to this, migrants and caravans are assisted before they reach the border," the Mexican leader wrote. "We reiterate that Mexico's position is not to close borders but to build bridges between governments and between peoples."

Illegal migration across the Mexico border is down in part because the Biden administration secured some stepped-up cooperation from Mexico — the sort Trump seems to be celebrating.

Expect Faux and the MAGAts to trumpet how Trump stopped illegal migration even before taking office. Does not look like he will impose his disastrous 25% tariff on Mexico which will be a disaster for the automotive industry, he is laying the groundwork for caving on this.

But he will continue to beat up on Trudeau because he is already kneeling at Trump's altar and is afraid of losing his next election in 2025.

So since he could not get Sheinbaum to cave like Trudeau, he will soon launch a "Say no to Fentanyl" campaign. Shouldn't Melania be launching this like Nancy did with her "Say no to drugs" campaign?

The '1984' three-power world, Oceania (US), Eurasia (Russia), and East Asia (China) is still how we may end up. The three power situation is stable--if one gets too big, the other two combine to knock it down some. Systems tend to thrash around until they reach a stable state.
