I don't know how long it takes me to use 9 Mega rolls. I would guess two months. The price had gone from $5.88 to $9.89, (of course I had to search for it).

I pay $12AUD for 8 standard 3 ply rolls here, and I don't complain and am on a pension.

Petrol, just under $2 a liter, that's 0.264172 of a US Gallon, and I don't complain.

Not say you are complaining, but I see a lot of Americans do, and It's not a USA issue it's everywhere, and complaining or blaming the wrong entity is a waste of time, and sometimes self defeating like as you point out by blaming the current government..

12 bucks for toilette paper????? I pay €3 here in Germany at Lidl for an 8 pack of 4 ply. It sure is expensive to shit, down under

Gas is expensive, of course, but it´s tolerable at about €1,80/l.

I pay about €9 for case of beer , 20 half liter bottles.

Over all, life is good in Germany
