Spent last week in the Smokey Mountains on the Tennessee side of the park. Road closures, detours or very long delays to go to east to Asheville or south to Cherokee. So did not see any of the storm damage only trucks and crews heading south.

One sight that amazed me was the large number of "Trump Stores" around the area. There were sometimes two on opposite corners of an intersection. Forget how many times I noticed a pickup with a load of Trump signs on the road.

The cult runs deep down there.
