Suprizingly civil exchange for the most part, Vance predictably kept pivoting to immigrants being the cause of the country's problems and the "open borders/ Harrris border czar" lies.

For the debate audience, where Vance wanted to be accepted by non-MAGAs, we got a transformed persona, all kinder and gentler. Walz kept finding things to agree with, which was the wrong way to handle it. He just validated Vance as good-hearted and reasonable, when he should have been calling out the hypocrisy.

Watched bits and pieces of it and come off feeling Walz was way to nice, not the attack dog Harris needed last night. Waited till the end to hold Vance to any account.

He's a genuinely nice guy. I don't think we should really hold that against him. He could have ripped Vance a new one and it wouldn't have really mattered. This is just the VP debate.

Vance is a chameleon.
Has the ability to change his appearance or perception of to conform to the audience at that moment.
He is dangerous in no one really has seen the real JD.
