Her pitchman for the voters, like Obama used Biden as his pitchman to deal with the House and Senate members who we not thrilled to have to negotiate with a black POTUS.
Walz for now is effectively the face of their team, he is the one with better one liners and adoration and his folksy manner and humor is keeping Trump out of the headlines. Trump now has to say something stupid to get noticed and he is certainly getting noticed for saying something stupid.
If Biden had kept his word as being a caretaker one term president and the dumber than door knobs DNC actually conducted a real primary, no way Kamala Harris would have won the nomination against say Shapiro, Kelly, Walz or Beshear, the four she considered for her VP. Most of her political success I attribute her success to being in the right place at the right time while not polarizing.
I have nothing against her, but never thought highly of her either. Now she has a great chance of becoming president if she plays her cards right and I am certain that she is more than smart enough for that. For one, she listens to her advisors and now she has a great team behind her. She was great as a sidekick for Biden and now I am certain she will be just as good a sidekick for VP Walz, at least till they get elected.
Then Harris will get AF1 and Walz will be happy riding in AF2.
