I have to admit to a certain amount of surprise (as I've posted elsewhere) at the fast reversal of fortune for the Dems. I remember Kamala polling at around 5% when she dropped out in 2020 and the last approval rating I saw for her as VP (pre-declaration) was ~ 36%.

I put it down to relief on the part of the Democratic electorate that they're no longer bound to vote for a querulous frightened old man.

She is in a fortunate situation because on her own, I doubt she can be very effective similar to Al Gore, both are lousy campaigners. But she made a great choice for her VP who is affable, engaging, likeable with a solid record of executive success as a governor, while his counterpart is competing with Don Jr. for the most obnoxious American. If Mr. Walz fronts their team, they will do very well and she can be pretty sure that she will attract women voters and minorities just by being herself.

Agree wholeheartedly, except to point out that Mr. Walz does NOT front their team unless you mean he could become de facto president ŕ la Dick Cheney.

Her pitchman for the voters, like Obama used Biden as his pitchman to deal with the House and Senate members who we not thrilled to have to negotiate with a black POTUS.

Walz for now is effectively the face of their team, he is the one with better one liners and adoration and his folksy manner and humor is keeping Trump out of the headlines. Trump now has to say something stupid to get noticed and he is certainly getting noticed for saying something stupid.

If Biden had kept his word as being a caretaker one term president and the dumber than door knobs DNC actually conducted a real primary, no way Kamala Harris would have won the nomination against say Shapiro, Kelly, Walz or Beshear, the four she considered for her VP. Most of her political success I attribute her success to being in the right place at the right time while not polarizing.

I have nothing against her, but never thought highly of her either. Now she has a great chance of becoming president if she plays her cards right and I am certain that she is more than smart enough for that. For one, she listens to her advisors and now she has a great team behind her. She was great as a sidekick for Biden and now I am certain she will be just as good a sidekick for VP Walz, at least till they get elected.

Then Harris will get AF1 and Walz will be happy riding in AF2.

Looks like VP Harris has Iran as her ally like Trump had Russia working to help him win in 2016.

Quote:
“Consider me as an anonymous resource who has access to djtfp24 campaign. There are [sic] other stuff too, that I can send you, if this content is in your field of interest,” the sender wrote in an email to the reporter.
Quote:
On Friday, Microsoft said a group run by Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps had compromised the email account of a former adviser to a U.S. presidential campaign and used that address in June to contact a senior official who was still engaged in the campaign. That email contained a link to a site that could have allowed Iran to intercept the target’s other emails, Microsoft said. A spokesman for the company said it would not reveal whether the attack had succeeded and declined to comment Saturday.
At least, the Trump campaign is not blaming President Biden or his administration perhaps because MS made this hacking public yesterday. The document it seems was related JayDee's vetting process and yet another proverbial knife being twisted in JayDee's rib cage. Wonder if and when Trump will dump him.

Quote:
In his statement, Cheung referenced reports of that alleged plot: “The Iranians know that President Trump will stop their reign of terror just like he did in his first four years in the White House. Any media or news outlet reprinting documents or internal communications are doing the bidding of America’s enemies and doing exactly what they want.”
Yet, Trump publicly asked Russia to help him win in 2016 and how seen they forget.

The most important one is that a convicted felon should not be voted into the highest office. Guess who the felon is.

Unlike your Dear Leader, the destruction of democracy isn’t on her agenda. She will fully spell out her positions at the Democrat Party convention. Patience, dickwad.
