I am really enjoying this shit show from Florida, the power couple Zieglers fighting to stay relevant. The husband is refusing to quit his post as the head of Florida Republican party while the wife is refusing to quit her school board position. And she is a co-author of the Don't sat gay law in Florida while participating in a three way affair for years. Now the husband is being accused of rape by their sex partner. Hypocrisy and Repugnants go hand in hand like passing an impeachment investigation resolution against President Biden yet refusing to find Trump guilty on two separate Impeachment hearings.
Apparently Ziegler has asked for a $2M buyout (he has since denied this) while the woman is still refusing to quit.
Embattled Florida GOP chair demands buyout to quit, party members say
Quote:
Republican leaders in Florida are expressing outrage over a reported proposal that party chairman Christian Ziegler be paid as much as $2 million before he’ll step down amid a sexual assault investigation.
Ziegler is battling to keep his powerful position despite dual scandals, one of which has also ensnared his wife, Bridget Ziegler, a Moms for Liberty co-founder who sits on the Sarasota County School Board.
The couple, whose political influence has grown along with the ascent of the Florida GOP, have been asked to quit their jobs, even by friends and allies as well as political opponents. Each has refused.

And just so we don't forget about another high ranking GOP pervert.
Lawsuit claims CPAC knew of past allegations of sexual misconduct by Matt Schlapp
Quote:
Officials overseeing the Conservative Political Action Conference knew about past accusations of sexual misconduct by chairman Matt Schlapp but failed to investigate or remove him from his powerful post, an amended sexual battery and defamation lawsuit claims.
In one alleged incident, during a fundraising trip to South Florida in early 2022, Schlapp was accused of stripping to his underwear and rubbing against another person without his consent, according to the filing. In 2017, at a CPAC after-party, Schlapp attempted to kiss an employee against his wishes, the lawsuit claims.

And what is it about Florida that brings out the worst in Repubs?

Florida Republican Party censures chairman Christian Ziegler

Well, they finally did the right thing. Surprising, they sure wouldn't do the same to Donny. Yes, Whell, Donny is also a rapist.

Farewell to one of the dumbest years in congressional history

‘ACTIVELY STUPID’ — It’s not uncommon for year-end stories about Congress to speculate about whether it’s the worst Congress ever — such is the level of dysfunction and polarization in recent decades. Even so, the first year of the 118th Congress is in a league of its own.

As expected when Whell's World is put in charge...

I am wondering about this 118th Congress. They did manage to evict George Santos with the recommendation of the House Ethics committee with the help of Democrats voting along with a minority of Republicans, emphasis on minority of Republicans. The Ethics committee is still investigating Matt Gaetz for sex crimes and this has been going on for quite some time prompting the booted McCathy to claim he belongs in jail. So when is the Ethics committee going to make a decision on Pervert Matt?

Anyone else worried seeing the defending from the GOP of the latest Racist rant from the former guys lips?
How is his statement not racists in nature? Seems pretty straight forward white supremacists thinking.....

At the Turning Point USA conference, Far-right MAGA activist Jack Posobiec claims from the stage:
"We've tried for so many years. We said we're going to be tolerant...We said we're going to be liberal...I'm done with all of that. I think It's time for a healthy dose of illiberalism."

I had to look that up.
ILLIBERALISM is opposition to or lack of liberalism.

So taking away personal freedom. Sounds kinda' fascist to me.
