Indeed not. Trump makes it very clear that the Constitution is an impediment to his political ambitions:
"Do you throw the Presidential Election Results of 2020 OUT and declare the RIGHTFUL WINNER, or do you have a NEW ELECTION? A Massive Fraud of this type and magnitude allows for the termination of all rules, regulations, and articles, even those found in the Constitution.”

I posted somewhere around here a couple of years ago that the Republican party/GOP is at war with our democracy. I challenge anyone to convince me otherwise.

Why these women in PA vote for Trump? Because of party and economics.
So what has their party done for them in the last 40 years?
Economics? The last Republican president who did not wreck the US economy?
Too much Kool_aid and not enough brains.

‘The public wants certainty’: why have Americans stopped trusting in science?
https://amp.theguardian.com/books/20...istopher-reddy
…because Whell’s World is full of uneducated cretins who trust conservative dogma über alles?

Well, one reason would be science is not trustworthy, because it is amoral. Science is very trustworthy as regards providing data as to how they physical world works, and how physical technology can be used to achieve human aims, but has nothing to say about what those aims should or should not be. To the extent that people perceive that science serves the interest of its masters, who in turn may not care about the public interest, they are correct not to trust science.
Of course if they just buy crazy anti-vax conspiraces, that is just being ignorant and fearful. But the elite's lack of moral authority in our society is a big part of why such stories gain traction. People know there are deep veins of corruption in our society. They seem to be pretty bad at discerning who the corrupt ones are and are not, but they are right to believe there's a lot of corruption out there.

:The people have a basic feel of who the corrupt ones are. However said ones are often accorded powerful protection derived from their connections.
The involvement of huge amount of money is for the most part a signal.
