Speaker of The House Nancy Pelosi Announces Her Retirement

Helluva a fighter, cat herder extraordinaire and Speaker. Thank you for your service, Nancy.

I see she still has Kevin McCarthy's shriveled family jewels in her office fridge. Poor dude couldn't even muster up the sand to attend her announcement. While Scalise did.

She will be sticking around to help out. They do need some younger member in charge of leadership. This way the old can help the new.

She has been and will continue to be a driving force.

Hakeem Jeffries seems poised to take her position as head of the Dem House Caucus. Raskin deserves a place in leadership too (if he wants it), though Jeffries is the odds-on favorite for Minority Leader.

Speaking of spineless wonders... McC in a statement heralded the end of "one-party Democratic rule" not mentioning the GOP desire to institute one-party Republican rule
