Yes the EL84's are a fav of mine. Sweet sounding tubes. Also Have a Magnavox and a Fisher Integrated that uses them. The EL84 needs the right speaker to really shine.

An all-time classic. I bought it when it first came out and still have it. Definitely my favorite Spirit album, though The Family That Plays Together features the great track I Got a Line on You. Good stuff. I didn't care much for Jo Jo Gunne, the band that two Spirit members formed afterwards.

Know that group for two songs that I liked, besides the one you mention: Nature's Way, and Fresh Garbage. Now that I think of it, there was another, with a hook about 'having another hit....'
