Outstanding! Donny’s new theme song will soon be: Nobody Knows You When You’re Down and Out. Love it!

Rep. Eric Swalwell sues Trump over Jan. 6 riot, alleging he poses risk of ‘inciting future political violence’

https://www.washingtonpost.com/local...873_story.html

Quote:
A House impeachment manager and intelligence subcommittee chairman filed a federal lawsuit Friday against former president Donald Trump, Donald Trump Jr., Rudolph W. Giuliani and Rep. Mo Brooks (R-Ala.), claiming they should be held liable for injuries and destruction caused by their incitement of the Jan. 6 mob assault on the Capitol.

Rep. Eric Swalwell (D-Calif.), who also sits on the judiciary and homeland security committees, alleged Trump and his fellow speakers at a rally near the White House that day were directly responsible for mobilizing a crowd of tens of thousands of pro-Trump supporters to march on the Capitol and priming them for violence.
Senate Repubes let Donny off the hook, while knowing full well he was guilty as hell. Let us hope this will put him and his cronies behind bars, for good.

Good work, WSJ! The Repube paper of record takes on Donny! Love it.

I know this makes me petty but I want this man hounded for the rest of his life.

1. No peace.
2. No joy.
3. Constant shame.

I'm not too certain I don't desire that for anyone who supported him.

This is a civil lawsuit for damages. If a judgement is ever rendered, they will be in line with others for any payment. In general, no one goes to jail for losing a lawsuit.

For the pain, misery, and suffering he's caused across this land all in the pursuit of his own gain, color me petty too. Make that pain, misery, suffering and death...

I'm old enough to remember the rent discrimination cases and later, the Central Park Five debacle. How do such HORRIBLE, abusive people ever gain wealth and power in the first place? So much for the idea that God rewards good people with riches. I think we have that backwards. The richer they get, the closer we should be looking into how they're getting it. Something about a wealthy man and the eye of a needle..........

Add to that the question of why do some people look up to people like that simply because they're wealthy?
