Two things: Were those federal troops or local police? If the former, anything they do is on Trump. If the latter, it's on the local leadership.

It will be interesting how it plays out in court. I have no problem with the police using force against rioters and looters. If these stories are at events where there was no protester violence taking place, I hope the victims of alleged police violence win in court. But as with the Floyd case, there is not enough information in that article or the links for me to form an intelligent opinion.

But this is not about Trump. It is about the mayors and police chiefs in these cities - all democrat run. It appears the Minneapolis police have some explaining to do. But I've learned appearances can be deceiving. Time will tell.

BTW, It offends me when the Police treat press like everyone else, but the press are not gods. Their access is not unlimited. Also, there are situations like this:

A lot of this stuff is really "fog of war". We'll know more as time passes. That's why I don't go out rioting as soon as I think I've seen something unfair. I need more info. And too often my original impression was dead wrong. That's why I no longer trust the MSM that creates those impressions.
