A Florida politician gives his viewpoint of hydroxychloroquine. Sadly he's finding out the hard way.

From the article
Quote:
"I'm over it," Fine texted FLORIDA TODAY from his Holmes Regional Medical Center hospital bed on Monday. "People should be able to use it if they want. But people should stop pretending it is some kind of magic potion as well. If they need proof, look at me."
Quote:
“He didn’t use the HCQ correctly,” a comment said on Randy Fine’s page. “You must take zinc with the hydroxychloraquine. (sic) The zinc is the magic bullet and the hydroxychloraquine (sic) carries it so it can prevent viral replication. Just curious, did you take the zinc too?”

“Yup. Sorry to burst the magic bubble,” Fine shot back.

Hopefully a few people will listen to him.

Of course Ron DeSantis "procured vast quantities of HCQ". It's like the Pharma Dude is running President Orange Shart's corona virus taskforce. smh

Before our resident Trumpkin comments “anecdotal”, I wonder how millions of infections it will take before these clowns accept reality, as this Repube was forced to do?

I guess it has to strike very close to home for the idiots.

My wife and brother both almost died of the flu two years ago. One even had a flu shot. Yet nobody started wearing masks.

And pretty much EVERYONE I know has had the flu at one time or another.

i.e. yes, it's anecdotal. I can give you anecdotal information about children killed and maimed being transported to school, yet we transport kids to school anyway. Every cause of death, every disease - no matter how rare - carries with it tragic anecdotal stories. It doesn't cause us to shut down our world. Read up on the availability heuristic.

Give it a year. This is going to leave a mark. Not the virus, but the response. My silver is doing nicely.

You argue like a child. Please stop wasting our time.

Leaving the death rate aside for now.

Just considering the vast amounts money being spent in keeping the death rate low. Patients staying on vents for weeks in ICU. Just who is getting stuck with the costs?

Where is the outrage and rants about so************************m now that medicaid is being expanded to cover the uninsured?

Where are the cries about so************************m also in the $$$ payments to those laid off?

Hypocrites!

Where is the conservatives?

Seems to me silent at the expenditures when they are the ones in control of the purse.

I'm no fan of it. And HCQ an Zinc are dirt cheap. I'm not spending a cent on this virus. Even the mask I use was free. Well, I did invest in zinc tablets. I already drink lots of coffee to get it into my cells. This also may explain why I never get sick anyway. Rarely, anyway.

You can believe the MSM or you can listen to other voices and live a pretty good life outside of fear. Sure, you might get cancer and die early, but it is highly unlikely. Eat healthy and get lots of exercise. Enjoy yourself. Eventually you may die. It may be today or it may be tomorrow - or it may be 80 years from now. But it's going to happen. Don't dwell on it.

Eventually your brand new car is going to be in a junk yard. But enjoy it while you have it. Don't dwell on its death - i.e. don't be afraid to drive it.

Who gives a flying fig about death rates when death counts are headed for and most certainly will exceed 200,000. That's TWO-HUNDRED-THOUSAND PLUS people dead that the majority of them didn't have to be. These are people, friends parents loved ones who are gone from this world too soon. PEOPLE not numbers, not figures, not percentages, people. That percentages crap is just a way to minimise the effects the carnage the misery and take the heat off of the failure residing in the WH.

Every person that dies is a person, friend, loved one. And everybody dies. We don't change the world because someone dies.

And when you look at how many of those that died were elderly, in retirement homes, where most residents die in relatively short order of something, it takes away the sting.

Give it a few more decades and you can quote "MILLIONS" dead. That's what people do. They die. This is just one of many ways - like falling in the tub, suicide, car wrecks, heart disease, the flu, falling from a ladder, murder, cancer, aids, etc.

Live your life anyway.

And we were designed to breathe through our mouth and nose. We were also designed as communal creatures. It brings with it risks. That's life.

If there were to be a war averaging 1K deaths a day now, with a total of 150k so far in 6 months. Just think of the outrage and calls of incompetence there would rightfully be!
