Did your grandfather set fire to your your grandparent's home?

My music teacher in 7th grade would get really upset trying to get us apathetic young teens to sing anything. I remember her trying to get us to sing this one you made me remember the line about gold and bread Pio.

I sort of knew Miss Louk was pushing the religious envelope at the time.
Poor thing she was up against young kids starting to listen to Led Zeppelin.

Folks around here are celebrating the ouster of Steve Bannon As stated earlier, I agree that it was long overdue.

I'm not sure what you're asking in your 2nd Q.

Recall you said I'd never get it?

He was asking you to explain what 'it' is.

Applies to nazis.
And all this time I thought tolerance was a virtue. I'm familiar with Popper, but his paradox of tolerance idea has practical limitations, most notably that fact that there isn't always agreement about what shouldn't be tolerated. Regardless, even Popper made the point that:

I do not imply, for instance, that we should always suppress the utterance of intolerant philosophies; as long as we can counter them by rational argument and keep them in check by public opinion, suppression would certainly be unwise.

I don't think there are any shortages of rational arguments that counter Nazism or white supremacy, nor do I think that public opinion is at risk of being overrun by Nazism or white supremacy. The same is true for Antifa and BLM.

Then why doesn't your Trumpenfuhrer make them? He was presented with the easiest slam-dunk in American politics - condemning Nazism. Instead, he called them "fine people."

BLM doesn't equate to antifa.
