I think the Palestinian Authority supports the two state solution. Hamas wants Israel gone. Hell, the Palestinians can't even get along with each other.

Thank you all for this conversation. Gives me some perspective on the issue.

This all boils down to respect of others and the feeling of entitlement. Both of the major sides treat the other with no respect. Then only they are entitled never the other.

I hate to think this to be true, but it will have to get a lot worse before it gets better. Human nature and history has shown this to be true. The naysayers always win, those who warn of tragic consequences preach understanding and peace get little sway. Until the aftermath and then cleanup the mess.

Now add the Christians who now want a war in Israel to speed or hearken the arrival of the Lord. Just what if they are wrong? For it is said "like a thief in the night" (1Thessalonians 5:2) So man will not have a hand or clue in the return. Crazy just crazy...
