I consider myself a rationalist and a moderate, and thereby critical of both extremes. My liberal friends think I'm conservative and my conservative friends think I'm a liberal. For that matter, as a Marylander, Yankees think I'm southern and southerners think I'm a Yankee. I guess I'm just stuck in the middle and totally OK with that.
